After twenty years we have seen a lot of print companies and a lot of software. Some work and some don’t. The essential ingredient to success is the people who use the software. They need to be motivated, trained and enabled by suitable tools and processes. We do this by consulting with the users. We endeavor first to understand the current process, and identify the essential parts of the process, and how it relates to other preceding and following processes. Then we remove unnecessary elements and insert controls, mapping it to the software as appropriate. After the whole system has been mapped and tested, we train the users on each process they are involved in.
